Terms of Service
Plain terms for the Bomi Academy pilot: what tutors can expect, what stays under tutor control, and how paid access is handled before self-serve billing ships.
1. Who we are
Bomi Academy is operated by Lukas Kaeb, Eisenacher Straße 1, 96450 Coburg, Germany. Contact: hello@leeway.website.
2. The service
Bomi Academy helps tutors manage assignments, submissions, rubric-aware feedback drafts, study materials, and parent updates. AI output is a draft aid only. Tutors remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything shared with students or parents.
3. Pilot access and billing
Public self-serve checkout is not live yet. Paid pilot access is arranged manually by e-mail or a signed pilot agreement. Any prices shown on the pricing page are early-access guide prices until checkout and plan management are available in the product.
Free access may be limited by active student count, AI usage, storage, or other fair-use limits. We will communicate material limits before enforcing a paid pilot plan.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for using the service only for lawful tutoring, learning, and parent communication. Do not upload content you do not have permission to process, attempt to access another tutor's data, or use Bomi Academy for spam, harassment, or automated abuse.
5. Students, parents, and consent
Tutors are responsible for inviting the right students and parents and for ensuring they have the necessary authority or consent to use the platform for minors. Parents may exercise data rights for linked children through the parent portal or by contacting us.
6. Your content
Tutors, students, and parents keep ownership of the materials they upload or write. We process that content only to operate the service, provide requested AI drafting features, maintain security, and meet legal obligations described in the privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
During the pilot, Bomi Academy may change quickly. We aim to keep the service reliable, but early-access features may be changed, limited, or removed when needed for safety, compliance, or product quality.
8. Ending access
You may stop using Bomi Academy at any time. We may suspend or end access if an account creates security risk, violates these terms, or uses the service in a way that puts student or parent data at risk.
